Central® 270 Reinforced Water Activated Tape is a 3 inch wide kraft tape reinforced with fiberglass yarn strands bonded between paper layers, delivering high tensile strength and a permanent, tamper-evident bond. The patented starch-based adhesive activates on contact with water, fusing directly to the carton surface rather than adhering through pressure alone.

The 375 foot roll length and reinforced construction make this tape well suited for high-volume carton sealing in distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and fulfillment operations where seal integrity and tamper evidence are required. The wide format provides full flap coverage in a single pass, and the fiberglass reinforcement holds across irregular surfaces, corners, and edge seals without tearing.

Adhesive performance is maintained across a broad temperature range, supporting use in both cold storage and warm warehouse environments. The kraft substrate is environmentally considerate — fiberglass yarn separates during repulping, allowing the paper component to enter the recycling stream. Each case contains 8 rolls and is eligible to ship via parcel carrier.
