3M™ 4466 is a double sided foam tape built on 1/16-inch (62.5 mil) closed cell polyethylene foam with a rubber-based adhesive on both sides. The conformable foam layer fills gaps on uneven or irregular surfaces, creating a flexible bond that distributes stress and resists impact across joined assemblies.

This tape is well suited for industrial assembly, sign mounting, retail display fabrication, HVAC gasketing, and general indoor joining where vibration damping or light cushioning is needed. It bonds to polyethylene, polypropylene, and many other plastics, making it a practical choice for joining dissimilar materials in both production and maintenance settings.
