3M™ 4462 Double Sided Foam Tape is a double-coated closed cell polyethylene foam tape featuring a rubber-based adhesive on both sides. At 1/32" thick and 1/2" wide per 5-yard roll, it delivers a conformable, resilient bond with enough give to seat firmly against irregular, curved, or textured substrates.

This tape is well suited to manufacturing assembly lines, retail fixture installation, display fabrication, and light industrial bonding where surfaces are uneven or where some degree of flex in the bond line is an advantage. Its closed cell foam core fills minor surface gaps, distributes mechanical stress across the bond area, dampens vibration, and resists incidental impact.

Optimal adhesion is achieved within a temperature range of 70°F to 100°F. Confirmed compatible substrates include polyethylene, polypropylene, and most common plastics. Sold individually as a single roll; parcel-friendly.
