3M™ 4016 Double Sided Foam Tape is a 1/2" wide, 36-yard roll built on a 1/16" open cell polyurethane foam carrier with firm acrylic adhesive on both sides. The conformable foam construction seats against irregular or uneven surfaces, distributing stress and providing gap-filling performance where rigid tapes fall short.

This tape is well suited to manufacturing assembly lines, signage mounting, light fabrication, and surface-attachment tasks in both indoor environments and protected exterior applications. The foam carrier also contributes vibration dampening, cushioning, and sealing characteristics useful wherever components need both adhesion and compliance.

The acrylic adhesive provides high bond strength with resistance to elevated temperatures and solvents, performing best within an ideal temperature range of 70°F to 100°F. Each case contains 18 rolls and ships via parcel carrier.
