3M™ 4008 Double Sided Foam Tape features a 1/8-inch open-cell polyurethane foam carrier coated on both sides with a firm acrylic adhesive, delivering high bond strength with resistance to elevated temperatures and solvents. Each roll measures 1 inch wide by 36 yards long.

The conformable foam construction distributes stress across bonded surfaces, cushions against impact, dampens vibration, and fills gaps on irregular or uneven substrates. It is well suited for manufacturing assembly lines, industrial maintenance, signage mounting, and exterior installations where the tape is shielded from direct environmental exposure. Optimal performance is achieved within a temperature range of 70°F to 100°F.
